1. Who Provides the Service
Alpha Tutoring is a sole proprietorship, not a separate corporation. The proprietor is responsible for the business. Proprietor’s full legal name and business mailing address: OWNER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED. Contact: our team through the Contact Us page. These missing details must be completed before paid enrolment.
2. Website Inquiries and the Free Session
Submitting a form requests a conversation; it does not reserve a tutor or time, create a paid subscription, or authorize a charge. The introductory session is free. Its availability, length and arrangements will be confirmed by email. You are not obliged to purchase lessons after it.
3. Paid Lessons Require a Separate Agreement
Before payment, we will provide the proprietor’s identity and contact details, lesson scope, tutor arrangements, schedule, session length, price in Canadian dollars, applicable taxes, total charges, payment timing, and cancellation terms for your review. You must be able to correct errors and expressly agree. You will receive a copy of the agreement in the legally required form and timeframe. Browsing this website alone does not accept a paid tutoring contract. No recurring charge is authorized through this website.
4. Online Lessons and Learner Participation
Lessons take place online using Zoom. A suitable device, connection and relevant schoolwork help the learner participate. A parent or guardian must arrange and accept paid services for a minor. Tell us about accessibility needs so we can discuss appropriate accommodations. Tutoring supports learning; it does not award school credits or guarantee a grade, admission, exam result or particular improvement. We do not complete assessed work or impersonate learners.
5. Payments and Refunds
Payments are made online using a provider identified before payment; that provider and the checkout arrangements are not yet confirmed. Do not send card details through inquiry forms or email. Our proposed policy is no discretionary refunds for a change of mind after an agreed purchase. This does not limit a refund, cancellation, charge correction or other remedy required by applicable law, including for an invalid agreement, misrepresentation or failure to provide the agreed service. It does not authorize keeping money for services we are legally required to refund.
6. Rescheduling, Missed Sessions and Service Interruptions
Required notice, late-arrival rules, no-show charges, expiry of purchased hours and treatment of tutor cancellations or technical interruptions: OWNER CONFIRMATION REQUIRED. No undisclosed forfeiture, penalty, automatic renewal or cancellation fee is created by this draft. Obtain these terms in writing before paying. Tell us promptly about a disruption so we can discuss an appropriate remedy, subject to your legal rights.
7. Respect, Privacy and Materials
Use the website lawfully and treat learners and tutors respectfully. Do not upload material you lack permission to share, attack the website, or disclose another person’s private information without authority. Website artwork and teaching materials may not be republished commercially without permission; learners retain rights in their own work. Permission for a photo, testimonial, recording or promotional use must be obtained separately. Neither this page nor an inquiry form authorizes recording, transcription or AI meeting assistants.
8. Referral Offers
Any advertised referral amount is subject to written eligibility and payment terms supplied before participation. The owner must finalize those terms; submitting a referral does not by itself establish entitlement. Provide a referrer’s contact details only with permission. We do not authorize unsolicited marketing or disclosure of student information through the referral process.
9. Liability, Complaints and Ontario Consumer Rights
We remain responsible for obligations imposed by law. There is no blanket release of liability or promise that every website statement or session will be error-free. Contact us with the transaction details and requested resolution. Ontario law and applicable Canadian federal law govern, without removing mandatory protections that apply to you. These terms do not waive statutory warranties, consumer cancellation or refund rights, access to courts, class proceedings or complaints to regulators. No mandatory arbitration or arbitrary liability cap is imposed here.
10. Changes and Interpretation
We may update website information prospectively. A new website policy does not retroactively change an existing paid agreement. Material service changes require proper notice and agreement where required. If a provision conflicts with mandatory law, that law prevails; the remaining lawful provisions continue to apply.
Draft revised October 20, 2026. Not an approved service agreement.
